OUR COMPANY
In 1969, Don Martin was running a successful multi-truck HVAC service business in Calgary, Alberta. Large commercial clients started to ask who could clean out their ductwork and vents. Don started to investigate and brought the old-school duct cleaning truck to Western Canada in 1969. It was the start of a lifelong love of the industry. Fast forward to 2001, Don and his son Lane started Modern Furnace and Air Duct Cleaning in sunny Kelowna, British Columbia. After growing the business to a multi-truck operation, in 2005 Lane read an article on a franchise concept that made sense. The wheels were set in motion.
How our Foundation Helps
In May of 2007, after thousands of hours of development, Lane and Don changed the company name to Modern PURAIR®, invested in more trucks, hired people, built a head office facility, and set a goal to become the only coast to coast branded Indoor Air Quality company in Canada. Our positioning line “Clean Air. We live and breathe it®” is truly what we live by.
